Emsleys’ charity race night victory

Emsleys’ popular charity race night was a roaring success last month, with over £740 raised for local charity St Gemma’s Hospice.

The simulated race night saw guests place their bets, with horses such as ‘Tea & Toast’, ‘Disney World’ and ‘Kit Kat’ racing to the finish line. A big thank you to The Gascoigne Arms in Barwick in Elmet for hosting our exciting night at the races.

The evening built on the success of last year’s race night, raising a brilliant £100 more. St Gemma’s Hospice is the firm’s Charity of the Year – Emsleys’ Charity Committee has hosted various fundraising events over the last few months, including a Fun Day last summer.
