Coffee and Cake for a good cause!
In our first fundraiser of the year, our Charity Committee organised a Coffee and Cake Morning for members of staff. With fresh speciality coffee, and cakes baked by staff, and children and parents of staff, we raised over £100 for Zarach.
There was much bustle and excitement leading up to the event with plenty of googling of recipes and great debate into the colouring of a red velvet cake! (natural or food colouring!)
Star Baker was awarded to Claire's Daughter, for her fantastic cupcakes. James proudly earnt a handshake or two from fellow colleagues for his Red Velvet Cake (food colouring) though is still awaiting a phone call from Mr Hollywood.
This year the Charity Committee looks to further include staff with fundraisers both in and outside the office. Stay tuned for more and for our upcoming Easter Egg Hunt - perfect for the family over the Easter weekend.
