Emsleys given stamp of approval by Law Society
Emsleys, which has provided conveyancing services to Leeds homeowners since it was formed in 1987, was awarded membership to the CQS scheme for providing consistently high standards in residential conveyancing, following rigorous assessment by the Law Society.
Alistair McKinlay, Partner and Head of Property at Emsleys said: "We are delighted to have secured CQS status. It is recognition of the high standards we provide to our residential property clients and is a signal to future home buyers of the excellent service they can expect to receive from us. The overall beneficiaries will be clients who use us when buying or selling their home.”
The CQS was launched by the Law Society to enable consumers to recognise practices that provide a quality residential conveyancing service. The scheme requires law practices to undergo a strict assessment, compulsory training, self-reporting, random audits and annual reviews in order to maintain CQS status. The scheme is supported by the Council of Mortgage Lenders, the Building Societies Association, Legal Ombudsman and the Association of British Insurers.
