Emsleys Solicitors’ Personal Injury department goes from strength to strength
Emsleys Solicitors has expanded its personal injury team with three new appointments, following yet another successful year for the department.
Solicitor John Hutchings joins the team with over 13 years’ serious injury experience, specialising in employer liability claims involving brain and spinal cord injuries and traumatic amputation. John will also work on Emsleys’ award-winning Review My Claim initiative. He is joined by Litigation Executive Alice Waddell, who joins the team from a top 100 law firm, and Trainee Paralegal Shaista Shahnaz, a recent law graduate from the University of Leeds.
Additionally, Emsleys’ personal injury team is celebrating after once again achieving ‘recommended’ status in The Legal 500*. This year the firm gained two ‘Leading Individual’ awards for Director and Head of Personal Injury Andrew Greenwood and Director and Solicitor Natalie Marrison. Emsleys was also shortlisted for Firm (Regional) of the Year in Personal Injury: Claimant (Insurance) in The Legal 500 Awards 2017.
John said: “Emsleys is a great firm that focuses on high standards and every aspect of the client experience. I am delighted to be joining the Review My Claim team, a nationally-acclaimed initiative that does much to help those who feel they have been short-changed by substandard personal injury lawyers.”
Andrew Greenwood described the department’s success as “testament to the personal injury team’s exceptionally hard work”. He added: “Both Emsleys and our Review My Claim initiative focus very much on the client, and our new team members will complement and further strengthen our existing team.”
