Injury Prevention Day 2018: #headresttest
Did you know the position of your car headrest could help protect you against a whiplash injury?
It’s Injury Prevention Day 2018 and the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) is campaigning to avoid needless injuries. By ensuring vehicle head restraints are correctly adjusted, drivers can help ensure they are protected from whiplash and neck and head injuries.
Your headrest should ideally be level with the top of your head and should be positioned as close as possible to the back of your head (see the below infographic from APIL).
With tens of thousands of casualties and injuries on our roads each year[1], it’s more important than ever that we take measures to avoid needless harm.
