Six Emsleys lawyers recommended in The Legal 500 2017

Emsleys is celebrating after six of its lawyers were ‘recommended’ in The Legal 500 2017 editorial.

Director and Head of Personal Injury Andrew Greenwood, Director Natalie Marrison and solicitor John Hutchings have been recommended for their work in claimant personal injury. Emsleys has been praised as a “go-to firm for under-settled cases”, recognising the continuing success of its Review My Claim initiative.

The editorial also commends Emsleys’ “excellent” family law department, recommending Head of Family Law Gabbie Clasper, whose “knowledge on family law is way above other solicitors”.

Director and Head of Wills and Probate Helen Gott is praised for her “highly impressive leadership” as “a true professional”, with solicitor Ailsa Jarvis also receiving a recommendation. The editorial notes that the department’s “reputation is fast improving”.

Helen Gott’s recommendation follows her shortlisting for the Private Client Award in The Yorkshire Legal Awards 2017.

The Legal 500 is an independent guide which surveys over 250,000 corporate counsel each year. The latest edition recommends Emsleys for its work in three practice areas; claimant personal injury, family law and personal tax, trusts and probate.
