What is a no win, no fee claim?
Personal injury compensation claims are often ‘no win, no fee’ arrangements. This means you will not have to pay any legal costs if your claim is unsuccessful.
‘No win, no fee’ may also be referred to as a ‘conditional fee arrangement’ or ‘CFA’.
If you think you have a case for compensation, your lawyer will assess your claim and will only progress your case if there is a good chance of success. If we win your claim, your opponent (‘the defendant’) may contribute towards your legal costs. Any remaining legal fees will be deducted from your compensation: this will never be more than 25%.
