The prices are given both excluding and including VAT to enable you to compare without having to do the calculation. Note VAT, where applicable, is charged at the Government's set prevailing rate which is currently 20%.

What services are included in the price

The above standard fees relate to residential freehold or leasehold property owned by one or more individuals with a title which is already registered at HM Land Registry. There may be some additional charges dependent upon certain circumstances. These may include; when the property is unregistered, if a partnership or company owns the property being remortgaged, or if you are using a non-standard lender. Any additional charges will be calculated based on our hourly rate and taking into consideration the unique circumstances of each transaction.

Included within the price is all legal work relating to your remortgage including reviewing the legal title, acting for the mortgage lender and registering the new mortgage at HM Land Registry.
