New Build Conveyancing
FAQs
- I have never bought a new property before, how does the process work?
- What happens after I have paid my reservation deposit?
- What is ‘exchange of contracts’?
- When do I pay my deposit to the developer?
As a buyer of a new build home you may be eligible for a Help to Buy equity loan from the government. Equity loans help first time buyers and existing homeowners who would otherwise find it difficult to find a 10% deposit. Our conveyancers can assist you throughout the process of buying your new build home using an equity loan.
The paperwork for a Help to Buy equity loan forms part of the conveyancing process. Your conveyancer will check that the details are in order and request permission from the scheme’s administrators to proceed. After completion, your conveyancer will register the Help to Buy equity loan against the property as a second charge.
Our team have assisted buyers with Help to Buy equity loans in relation to numerous developments since the scheme was first introduced. We are best placed to ensure you receive the help you need with the minimum amount of hassle.
